True Time Tracker

True Time Tracker is an time management software. With it you can learn how you spend your personal or working time. The program starts with Windows and gathers information on applications started, websites visited, various activities over time and consumed traffic. Basing on these data it creates detailed reports. Looking at such report you get comprehensive information of your working day structure, your daily activity and effectiveness of your work. You can learn how many times you interrupted your work, and how much time each particular task took. The built-in project manager allows you to review an overall development cost at a glance. A generated report or an invoice can be printed, saved or exported to PDF with a single click. The program features easy to use, intuitive interface which you can block the access to with a password.

The ability to add notes about a project on the project definition screen so we could include detail, possibly 2 options, hidden notes (for our personal use) and customer notes (for printing with invoice)

interests: analyse documentation use (browser site list and help browser user) add a team analysis tool detecting project phase depending on activity (intensive documentation use, communication, test, software development)...

If you could run the programme on 2 systems or more and have a connection that can link up the data and compile and total for you built in that would help for those who use more than 1 system.

Be able to change the timer to Days/Hours/minutes instead of Hours/Minutes/seconds

When I start a session, I'm on for about 5 days and I want to make a history over these 5 days with "Days/Hour/minute" timer so that I know if I've been on Facebook for 2 days instead for 48 hours, looks way simpler to me. But I won't make it...

One should be able to go back and edit segments as to activity and task/class.

Rules do not always fit situations, and serious software should allow review and correction.

With respect to available reports, cumulatives are necessary, but so are details.

be able to use it but it keeps crashing everytime I start it with a 'subscript out of range' error.

The status bar icon shows up, it shows a message box that says "True Time Tracker will stay running in the background", it shows a "subscript out of range" error then it closes. I am running it on Windows Vista

Make it actually work, instead of crashing when hitting start. Windows XP SP3 32-bit, and the program doesn't run. I would also make project and app management a bit easier, like maybe being able to select already running processes from the task mana

Have a server to collect data from clients

Very useful in a school for the teacher to oversee the lab. Some options to give a time limit for some activities could also be useful.

All of the above are really needed for this to be of value. Clients are entitled to copies of time tracking reports and the ability to add your own logo for the reports and invoice are a no brainer and I can not understand why this was not originall
